The ever so popular tag line “Bajaj Pulsar” will no longer be called the same. Soon, you will have to call Bajaj Pulsar as just Pulsar due to restructuring that might happen within Bajaj Auto.

This restructuring seems to have surface because of the need of the company to separate its domestic image from the hard core serious business world of bikes. It plans to move all the bikes under four major brands – Pulsar, Boxer, Discover, and KTM. The rear engine 3 wheelers will get a separate brand identity too. The company also plans to move the Platina under the discover brand hood in the future.

This decision is a major step toward Bajaj getting into the serious mode of selling bikes not as a consumer product but as a luxury product.

Hopefully, this move will take Bajaj a step closer to being the number one in bike sales beating the current number one, Hero Honda.
