The two wheeler market in India is booming with new bikes that are totally ready to come out and shine. Meanwhile, Hero Honda, the largest two wheeler manufacturer, does not want to be left behind in this race of staying on the top. In the bid to stay in the league, Hero Honda is planning to launch 13 new products over the next year and a half.
The 13 products will include 4 all new products with 4 major variants and 5 minor variants. This year is dedicated by Hero Honda to the premium segment, but in the bid to please the rich, Hero Honda does not want to depress the mass segment. The company also plans to include scooters in this years focus area.
This kind of launch in the coming 12-18 months by the company is also targeting the sales figure of 5.6 million for the coming fiscal year and an overall growth of 15 percent.
Though Hero Honda has struck the rich segment through the ever so popular Karizma, the mass segment is still looking for something stunning in lines of Honda’s CB Twister.
