
Vettel has successfully secured the pole position for tomorrow's race in Budapest. In the qualifying round of 2011 Hungarian Grand Prix Vettel registered fastest lap time of 1.19.815. Lewis Hamilton came second in his McLaren Mercedes while teammate Button finished 3rd. 4th and 5th spots were occupied by Ferrari drivers Massa and Alonso respectively while the 6th spot was occupied by Vettel’s Red Bull teammate Mark Webber.
Nico Rosberg from the Mercedes outfit, came 7th while Force India’s Adrian Sutil sped past Michael Schumacher to secure the 8th spot on the grid while 7 time champion, Schumi had to settle for 9th place on the grid. Sauber Ferrari driver Sergio Perez secured the 10th place for tomorrow’s race.
Remaining spots for the 2011 Hungary Grand Prix were occupied by the following drivers in the same order, Paul di Resta, Vitaly Petrov, Kamui Kobayashi, Nick Heidfeld, Rubens Barrichello, Jaime Alguersuari, Pastor Maldonado, Sebastien Buemi, Heikki Kovalainen, Jarno Trulli, Timo Glock, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Daniel Ricciardo, Jerome d'Ambrosio.
