Tata Motors vehicle's new Tata Iris was spotted today doing rounds on the outskirts of Pune. The Tata Magic Iris was spotted without any cammo and badges at a honest speed of 40kmph. The Tata Magic Iris by Tata Motors is all set to be the new age auto rickshaw in Indian cities. The company has planned launch to happen area wise and the Tata Magic Iris can be spotted in some of the cities already. However, though it has been selectively launchd the fine tuning still happens to fight the much competent upcoming Bajaj ULC based people carrier.

Talking about the Tata Magic Iris, it is a 611cc, water cooled, indirect injection diesel engine that produces 11 BHP of power and mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The vehicle can produce a top speed of 60 kmph and can seat five that includes the driver. The CNG powered version of the Iris is in plan too and might be priced around Rs 2 lakhs. The Magic Iris gives a mileage of 25 kmpl for the diesel version.
