Triumph motorcycles is all ready to bring in a small-displacement, single-cylinder beginner’s bike. This street bike when developed is expected to sit in the 250cc category class.
The bike is planned to be developed at the new Triumph factory that is located in Manaus, Brazil, and they utilize the kits that are produced at Triumph’s Thai factories.
The Triumph bike is expected to reach the markets abroad in 2012 and boasts of a liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder engine displacing 267 to 350cc all dependent on the location where it will be sold.
The bike post development will stand competition to the Indo Austrian KTM 350 Duke in developing markets, while in the American markets rival to Kawasaki Ninja 250 and Honda CBR250R.
As Triumph has announced entry to India shores, we are hopeful this bike will make it to India.
