French auto manufacturing giant, Renault has announced that they will be launching their first sedan in India on the 23rd this month at an event in New Delhi. At the launch event, all senior Renault employees are expected to arrive from France.

Once launched in the Indian auto Industry, Renault Fluence will compete with the likes of Skoda Laura, Honda Civic, Chevrolet Cruze, Skoda Yeti, etc. As of now there are no solid reports on what will be powering the Renault Fluence.

Report by Motoroids suggest Renault Fluence will be available in both petrol and diesel powered engine options. The petrol unit will be powered by a 2.0L engine while the diesel unit will have a 1.5L turbocharged engine.

Renault officials did not reveal the price of their C+ segment sedan. But we expect Fluence to cost you approximately Rs 14 lakhs (Ex-Showroom New Delhi).
