Aprilia has gone ahead and released a single image of the new Dorsoduro 1200, which is a big supermoto bike that will be showcased at the Cologne show in October.

This is not the leaked image that was all over the internet earlier in August, but the image that the Aprilia parent company Piaggio Group’s headquarters in Milan has released.

The technical information as per MCN is that the motor is an all new 1200cc 90 degree V-twin that will produce an awesome 130bhp at 8700rpm and 85lb ft of torque at 7200 rpm.

The bike will be geared with ABS as an option and the Aprilia Traction Control (ATC) from the Aprilia RSV4.

The company is planning many new models in the coming year with a new 180bhp Tuono V4 naked bike that is rumored to be a part of the plan as well.

We are expecting the new model to be launched in the international sports market in November with a tagline as the most powerful naked bike.

Hoping that these bikes will someday make it to the Indian shores.
