There have been multiple posts doing the rounds on the bike circuit about the teaser video released by Mahindra that has been seen on the TV. Now, CNBC has reportedly affirmed that the bike that has been taking test rides in the Vallelunga tracks in Italy is indeed a 300cc motorcycle. This bike is to be called or named Diablo and will feature a parallel twin engine. Also doing rounds is the news that this bike will be sporting a 25-27 PS power output and a six speed transmission for the 300cc bike.

Also, the earlier reports about the release of a 125cc commuter bike also seem to be true. CNBC again confirmed that the 300cc and 125cc both will be going for sale together. The commuter bike is to be priced between Rs 46000 to 48000 ex showroom Pune. The 125cc engine for the commuter is being designed by Engine Engineering, the Mahindra acquired Italian design maker that is also working on the 300cc design. Both the bikes, 300cc and 125cc commuter will be launched by December 2010.
