After being amidst a legal battle with Bajaj over the twin spark technology that Bajaj claimed to have patented, TVS motor company had earlier launched the single spark plug version of the TVS Flame to avoid legal controversies. After a long battle over the technology, TVS has finally succeeded and can now release and launch the 125cc twin spark TVS Flame.
The TVS Motor’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Venu Srinivasan, was quoted saying, “We are clearing the stocks of the single spark-plug version. Production of twin spark-plug Flame will begin this month,” The single spark plug version will be discontinued as the twin spark gets ready for release.
