The times when 100cc bikes were at the top, TVS Max 100R was at the helm of the king seat. After the rules and regulations were made strict, the 2 stroke motorcycles went for an extinct phase.

Though the Max 100R was put to rest, the rural markets were still yearning for the Max to return. The company, as was published earlier, was since then thinking of a way to bring back this marvel. Now, it has managed to release it as Max 4R with a 4 stroke engine taken from Star city. The 110cc engine will deliver 8BHP power and 8.3 Nm torque.

The targeted area remains the rural market and hence the bike will be simple at heart. The bike will include a 4 speed gearbox and boast very simple styling. The bike is planned to carry 200kg easily over long distances. The bike will though have comfortable seats, powerful headlamp, quad shock absorbers that will make rural driving safe and fun. The engine and the gearbox will be created such that it churns fuel economy.

The bike is rumored to cost at Rs 40000 on road in TVS Chennai.
