The movie 3 idiots got rave reviews and awesome feedback from all students, and it seems it might have been the inspiration for these 5 kids from a Jaipur based college. The film’s statement “All is well” has encouraged the students from this college to become proactive and use what they learn practically to such extent that the students have gone ahead and created a bike that runs on compressed air. The name of the bike, as dedicated to the movie, is named as All is well.

These 5 bright students are from the Gyan Vihar University in Jaipur. One of the students Pramod Jain was quoted saying, “We are not 3 but 5 Idiots who have created this bike that runs on compressed air. From that movie we were inspired to do something new, something innovative in our life.

The bike features a 2 stroke motor through which compressed air is forced and thus pushes the piston. As this action happens, the pressure drops and air makes way out via the exhaust ports. Due to inertia the piston gets back to the initial position and makes it ready for the next turn. The drawback that we see is that a very high performance air compressor is added to the bike all the time. But, students are confident that this blocker can easily be removed on more research.

The bike can conveniently hit 30 kmph and is emission free. If the bike becomes a reality and replaced the internal combustion engine driven wheels, we will have the dream of a greener India fulfilled pretty soon.
