The country’s third largest motorcycle manufacturer launched Wego its gearless scooter in Chandigarh last week. With the entry of this new scooter, TVS holds the honor of widest range of scooters but yet Honda is the leader in this segment with nearly 50% share in the market.

The TVS Wego comes with an 110cc engine that roars at 8hp and stands in competition with the Honda Activa, Hero Honda Pleasure and the Suzuki Access 25. But, TVS plans to market the scooter as a unisex offering and was developed hoping that both the sexes are appealed by it equally.

TVS also launched world’s first clutchless geared bike Jive. TVS aims at making commuting stress free with the entry of these two bikes. TVS has high hopes on these bikes to boost their sales report.
