Sources have been speculating that the first bike out of Mahindra’s two wheeler section might be a replica of the Kinetic Boss 100cc bike. The Boss was powered with a 92.7cc engine that produced 7bhp of max power and 0.68 kgm of max torque. The bike was an excellent commuter bike for city traffic.

The bike that Mahindra has proposed will also boast of a 100cc machine. The bike might also have the twin pod instrument binnacle and Mahindra might make changes to the vehicle to get it to the same level of design that Mahindra scooters are promising.

The bike is estimated to cost around Rs 35000-Rs40000 and if this is true, Mahindra can expect quite a few buyers in the ever so sensitive Indian market..
